Successful conference- Thanks to all

We are happy to report that the GSCIS-Singapore conference went off very well indeed. Thank you to all participants for providing a stimulating and exciting program. Feedback from those who attended has been overwhelmingly positive.
Please feel free to send me your comments on the conference. We will soon upload some photos of our own but in the meantime here are some from President Amitav Acharya's twitter feed.

Meanwhile:

Dear Caucus members:
I am confirming that Professor Bahgat Korany with whom many of you are familiar (currently a professor at American University in Cairo) will attend and be honored at the GSCIS  Distinguished Scholar Honoree luncheon in New Orleans. The event takes place  11.30-1.30pm Friday at the Café Adelaide, Loews New Orleans. As you know, we network and meet and great for the first half hour before proceeding to lunch. The honoree gives a speech between lunch and dessert. This year, we are also pleased to honor Professor James Mittelman for his stellar support for our caucus and his work on globalization over the  past four years. The event is by invitation only, meaning that only global south caucus members and supporters are invited inasmuch as space is limited to 25. All you need to do is send a quick email to me to let me know you plan to attend. Don’t miss out on lunch and a stimulating talk! Send in your YES as soon as you read this! First come, first served!
